Data Deletion Instructions

Geni is a creator marketing platform that connects brands with content creators. When you connect your Facebook Page or Instagram Business account to Geni, we access a limited set of your data in order to provide the service. This page explains how to delete that data.
What data Geni stores
When you connect an account through Facebook Login for Business, Geni stores only the following:

| Access token | Maintain the connection until you disconnect |
Geni never posts, edits, deletes content, or sends messages on your behalf. All access is read-only.
How to delete your data
Option 1 — Disconnect inside Geni (immediate)
- Log in to your Geni account at brand.geni.mn
- Go to Settings → Connected accounts
- Find the Facebook Page or Instagram account you want to remove
- Click Disconnect and confirm
Your access token is revoked immediately and all associated profile and insights data is deleted from our systems within 30 days.
Option 2 — Remove Geni from your Facebook settings
- Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find Geni in the list of logged-in apps
- Click Remove
This revokes Geni's access to your data. To also delete the data already stored by Geni, please additionally send us a deletion request using Option 3.
Option 3 — Email request
Send an email to privacy@geni.mn with the subject line Data Deletion Request.
Include the Facebook Page name or Instagram username of the account you want deleted, so we can locate your records.
We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What happens after deletion
- Your access token is revoked and Geni can no longer read any of your data.
- Your stored profile information and insights are permanently deleted.
- Campaign reports that were already delivered to a brand may retain aggregated, de-identified metrics that cannot be linked back to your account.
- Records we are required to keep by law (for example, invoices for completed paid campaigns) are retained for the legally required period and then deleted.
